Lending Section


This section includes: Latin specialized medical books, Persian medical and general books (thesis CD and CD of proficiencies academic books).
Penning hours:
Saturday to Wednesday:
8 pm to 14/30 am
Lending & Borrowing Rules at the Library:
A: The academic staff members:
Maximum number of books which can be borrowed at the same time is 4 books for 15days. the loan can be renewed for only one times.
B: Assistants, students and staff:
Maximum number of books which can be borrowed at the same time is 3 books for 15days. the loan can be renewed for only one times.
C: The Others:
Can be borrowed 1 book for 1 week.
Note:
All members can reserve 2 books for 48 hours before the loan. After 48 hours, the books will be automatically removed from the borrower's reservation if they did not attend.
Reference books, Journals and some single-copy books, CD,s and Thesis cannot been borrowed.
Library Circulation Desk
1. Editing the information of all library members (professors, students and staff of the University of Medical Sciences who register on the university website from the digital library section and send their information to the desired library for approval and editing).
2. Checking out students and university staff.
3. Guide clients in finding the resources with use of computer systems.
4. Borrowing books, CD books according to library regulations.
5. Extend and Returning the Books and exposing them on the shelves.
6. To scan books and magazines which are not borrowed.
7. Reading the shelves twice a year after the end of each semester to evaluate them.
8. Preparing a list of new books.
9. Update the collection and offer to buy the required books.
10. Receive suggestions and criticisms of clients about the level of service delivery and use them as much as possible to improve the quality of service delivery.
**The library classification system is based on the NLM National Library of Medicine and the Library of Congress of the United States of America (LC) and serves as an open shelf. Clients can easily find the resources they need on the shelves.
